How To Change Direction In Your Business

About a month ago, I started to get bored.

I felt like The Big Vision Show, while a lot of fun, just didn’t have in any life in it for me.

My soul was calling me to do something deeper…

And I wanted to start having a more profound conversation with you each week.

So today everything is different!

We have a different look and we have a different direction.

Now, this new episode… it’s a little rough. But I get personal and share with you exactly WHY I started my Big Vision Shows in the first place and how I’m making this new transition in my business.

Because when you want to do something new or different (or even change direction), you might be a little hesitant because you simply don’t know where it’s going to go or how it’s going to evolve.

You might even have a picture in your mind about how you WANT it to be… but that doesn’t mean it’s actually going to turn out that way.

Just don’t let the unknown and the fears stop you from moving forward, making changes and letting something die when you feel it’s time.

You just need to GO FOR IT!

And we will see what happens together.

In this episode of the Big Vision Show I’m going to tell you a personal story about why everything is different.

Hi there, I’m Max Simon and welcome to the Big Vision Show. You see if you’ve been following me for some time now you know that, well, everything looks different and I’ll tell you a story about why that is. You see I started the Big Vision Show for three reasons. First I knew that I wanted to start sharing my message more frequently so I thought video is a really cool way of doing that.

The second reason is that I was told to. You see one of my mentors said if you want to be successful in this industry you have to do video. The third reason was because I knew that particularly being here on YouTube, this universe that we call YouTube was a great way to have new people discover us. So I started doing video but didn’t really have a sense of how to do it or where it was going or what was the way I could do it that felt kind of true to me.

Our first episodes in the direction that we started with, I’ll be honest when we produced them I was like this is kind of quirky and weird and seems totally different than the person I usually am. It was like fast and funny. It actually looked a lot like one of my favorite shows on the internet from this guy named Ray William Johnson who is a comedian.

And you know it was different. It wasn’t what I was anticipating. It wasn’t what I thought it was going to be but it was kind of fun and people really actually enjoyed it so I went with it. We did, I think, 35 different episodes, maybe even more than that. But here is the thing; about a month ago I started to get kind of bored. I started to feel like what I was doing didn’t have any life in it for me.

Add to that the fact that I was moving to this new cool little mountain town called Ojai and I realized that the old way of doing it, the old show, the old style, the old energy actually had to die. Now I’m here in Ojai and I’ve got a brand new crew and I’m not actually sure what’s going to evolve in its place.

So this new episode, it’s rough and I’m sharing this story with you for just a few reasons, one it’s important to realize that when you want to do something you don’t know where it’s going to go. You don’t know how it’s going to evolve. You might have this picture in your mind of what you think it’s going to be doesn’t mean that’s what it’s actually going to turn out to be. It shouldn’t stop you, got to just get.

The second point is that when something feels like it’s ready to die, when it’s time to let something go you have to be strong enough, conscious enough, courageous enough to go with it. You see my soul is feeling this calling to do something deeper, something that has a more profound conversation happening.
