In today’s episode we’re going to teach you how to create killer online content. Hi there, my name is Max Simon. Welcome to the Big Vision Show. This is all about how you can reach more people and thrive financially.
The other day somebody in our tribe said “How do you always create such good content that people share all around the web?” I figured that was a very good question, maybe I would turn that into an episode. So today we’ll talk about the four ingredients of highly shareable internet content.
Step one, pick your medium. You see, I clearly love video because I get to be all silly and stupid in front of it but also because it’s a great way of me communicating my message to as many people as I can all at once. But that doesn’t have to be your medium. Maybe you like audio, like recording audio snippets or doing podcasts or maybe you’re just a writer and you like doing blogs. Or maybe you’re fantastic with email. The truth is it doesn’t matter what type of medium you like to produce content in, you can be massively successful in any of them.
The key is to pick the one that you feel most excited about and then stick to it. Really become masterful at producing it by doing it over and over and over again. Step two is to pick a topic that you feel most excited and passionate about. You see clearly I want to help you reach more people and thrive financially. That’s the umbrella of how I create all of my content. Maybe yours is improve your self esteem. Maybe yours is raw food eating. Maybe yours is, I don’t know, how to love your pets a little more.
The truth is, it doesn’t matter what the umbrella content is you want to be known for something so decide what’s the topic or the, well the umbrella that you are most passionate about, excited about, feel the most full of life around and then start making content around that.
Number three is to share your personal stories. You see I can tell you that the content that people love the most, share the most and really get the most excited about are when you open up and be vulnerable about what’s happened to you in the past that didn’t work, didn’t feel good, really sucked. And then what did you learn? What was your transformation? What came out of that that was really profound for you?
So every time something crazy bad, hard, weird happens be willing to go there. Share it, make a video about it, write a blog about it, share that in your preferred style of media.
And the fourth piece of the puzzle is to speak to what’s broken. You see the best content is always when people have this really strong point of view and they’re really willing to go into the details of what’s not working, why things are broken and just what’s up. And then more importantly what’s your solution. What’s the way that you would love to solve these individual problems?
Now I’ll tell you the secret ingredient of all this stuff is not to be surface level, like really go deep, dig inside. How do you really feel? What is the energy that you really want to bring to this dialogue because the more passionate, the more on fire, the more sincere, the more authentic you are with your content the more people are going to resonate with it?
