Cultivating the Power of Your Deepest Vision
At the end of the day, are you blowing your own mind with what you are capable of?
- The strength, uniqueness and power of your vision will differentiate “I’m having some success” from “I’m making major changes on a global scale AND getting paid.”
- Getting out of your own way, and creating the space for that on a regular basis, will increase your visionary capacity astronomically.
- If you choose not to create this space, it is highly likely that you will spin your wheels and not move forward to your highest potential…
These wise teachings come from none other than Jonathan Budd, this week’s Big Vision Expert…
BVB: So Jonathan, what’s working for you in your business these days?
Jonathan: If you want the truth, what I’m doing is focusing on taking more time off and figuring out how to get into the most creative spaces and allowing myself to get deeper visions.
That’s always what equals fantastic results, and the fantastic possibilities are all born from the vision you have for your life and for your business, your products and services.
Most people, they don’t develop that vision or that visioning skill. And lately, I’ve been detracting myself from a lot of things that I guess you could say keep you very in your mind or too logical or whatever it is and I’ve been focusing on more emotional healing, different types of experiences that put me more in a visioning path and process.
BVB: What are some of the specific results you are getting from this process of visioning?
Jonathan: I’ve had the greatest damn visions ever in the last 30 days and we’re launching two new companies out of that that have unbelievable potential.
Just in the last 30 days I walked away from a company and a deal that probably would have sucked in the long term, but it had such lucrative potential that I was interested in it – and basically because of this process I’ve been going through I was able to distinguish that it was not the right fit for me. That it wasn’t actually the highest calling. So I walked away.
And as soon as I did that, it opened the door for these other companies to come in which actually have larger potential, and are completely in alignment with my values. And I am utterly passionate about them, and they’re even more lucrative. So in just 30 days I’ve set up meetings with the founders of a really large company that’s in this industry that I’m partnering with and it’s pretty fantastic.
BVB: Some people may object to stepping back from everyday involvement in their business in order to create space for visioning. How would you address that?
Jonathan: Well, at the end of the day, visioning is everything! If you don’t see where you’re going and you don’t tap into the largest possibilities you’ll never really grow much. You may create something, but it won’t be super fantastic. If you want to tap into your fullest potential, if you want to go where people in your marketplace haven’t gone before, if you want to blow yourself away with what you are capable of, then at the root of everything it’s about the power of your vision.
It’s about the uniqueness of your vision. It’s about the meaning of your vision. The depth. And most people don’t cultivate that. Most people don’t step aside and create visioning processes and technologies and ceremonies even, that pull them out of their linear, logical, mind-driven ways of being and get them into a far deeper potential.
A more mysterious, unfathomable source of potential.
This last vision I got – we’re going to be a part of changing the energy infrastructure of life on this planet. I have no doubt about it.
I was given my life’s mission, and it just so happens to coincide directly with a massively profitable financial model.
So now we’re making partnerships in the solar leasing space and making solar leasing part of the mainstream conversation. And it’s all because that came in a vision that we have to do that. That it’s time to make a bigger difference in the world and change where we’re getting our energy from.
Dirty energy sources aren’t going to fly anymore.
It’s just one example.
BVB: So what have you had to overcome personally in order to dive deep into these processes?
Jonathan: Everything! The past, pain, trauma. All the wounds that create negative emotions. Insecurity, subconscious blocks where we learn not to trust anymore. We’re always trying to avoid our feelings so whether that’s through drinking too much, or hanging out too much… working too much… all of those things stop us from what I’m talking about now.
It’s about removing ourselves and getting out of the way.
Most of the greatest successes I’ve experienced in life have been from that place. I get out of my own way, and get in touch with a deeper purpose, it just comes through me.
I’ll get an idea in yoga class that turns into a 2 million dollar product line.
It wasn’t my idea, it just popped into my head in the middle of “me” being absent. No thoughts. No space. All of a sudden. Boom.
Same thing with different product launches that I’ve done.
So I’ve just focused on getting over my biggest wounds. And that inside of me which stops me from creating powerfully in every single moment. And that’s a lot of nitty gritty life work. You’ve got to look at your life, be honest and not try to be in this spiritual, personal development “think positive” space. I see people who “avoid negative thoughts.” It’s so dumb to me.
Because the negative thoughts are trying to teach you something. There’s something inside of you that’s festering. That’s why they exist. And people develop all these tricks and tools and strategies to try to avoid themselves, their thoughts, their feelings, and often it’s wrapped in some personal development or spiritual language, and it’s sad!
People can really spin their wheels there and not move forward in life. And they’re not moving forward in life because they’re not being honest, authentic, and truly willing to face everything that’s inside of them, everything that’s stopping them, challenging them.
If you’re not willing to, you won’t get the results that you’ll get when you are fully empowered, clear and a fearless human being.
BVB: That’s deep Jonathan, thanks for sharing with our Tribe!

That was really a great post/interview. I’ve been wondering if I’m on the right track with wanting to spend more time with the visioning of my “masterpiece”. It seems that I am. I’m still very new at getting to know my visioning process, but I know this much — nothing really happens when I’m being “busy”; usually if I’m doing things in a free flow style, in a flexible frame of mind, I get great ideas. Encouraging interview. Thank you.
Thank you! Glad it inspired… trust yourself, always!
