Why I’m feeling grateful after a tragedy like this
I must admit, it’s been a very emotional week. Despite the fact we knew this was coming, losing dad has been rough. But the truth is, I feel like he’s at peace now and the suffering has stopped (for him and me). So amidst the sadness is also a feeling of relief and freedom.
The Good News
For the first time in over a year (or more), I’m starting to feel creative and alive again. It was almost shocking to wake up this morning feeling “lighthearted”. What a blessing…
But here’s the problem (and this is difficult to admit)… I’m feel pretty disconnected from a lot of things – including what’s going on with you these days.
Check out this new episode of The Big Vision Show to see exactly what I mean…
Please share your answers here
As our way of saying “thank you”, you’ll get a very cool special report I created called: “How To Ask The Right Questions” which shows you to engage your
tribe and inspire them to provide you with helpful information so you know what to do next (just like I’m doing). And all you have to do is answer a few questions…
About The BVS Content
I wanted to let you know that I didn’t forget about the BVS contest. Things just got pretty intense with my family over the last few weeks so I had to completely unplug. That said, I’m going to take one more week to “unwind” and then we’ll do the drawing.
Which means that you can definitely still enter to win a Big Vision Show all about you (for free). Again, all you have to do is leave your big vision here.
For Now… Please Take 30 Seconds
And answer a few quick questions right now. It will literally take you 30 seconds and your energy and input is very much appreciated.
Much love,
Max
Transcript of this episode:
Hey there. It’s Max Simon and this episode of The Big Vision Show will be very different.
As you probably heard, my father, Dr. David Simon, after a 20-month journey with a glioblastoma brain tumor, finally transitioned to the other side.
It was actually a very, kind of a sweet, almost a magical experience because he left his body with my family, and myself included, with our hands on his heart as he took his last breath, so it was pretty profound, and yet it was followed by a wave of sadness and grief. I probably cried more in the last week than I have in quite a long time.
The good news is that he’s not suffering anymore and my family is not suffering anymore. I woke up this morning for the first time in, gosh, probably over a year with that feeling of spaciousness, of “It’s time to get back into a creative zone. It’s time to get back into doing real big things.”
It’s time and I’m so grateful for that, but the truth is I kind of feel disconnected from everything. I’ve been in my own little bubble for the last period and it’s time to reconnect with you, with the tribe, with the needs that you are looking for us to help serve.
That’s what I love. That’s what we love. That’s what we’re best at is serving you, helping you turn your big vision into a living, breathing reality now and get paid what you deserve for the great work that you do in the world.
Here’s what I need. I need something from you so that I can support you. It would be really great if you could help me with this. There’s a little link below to a few questions. I’d love to just hear: Where are you at? What’s going on for you and your business? What are you challenged by? What do you want to know? What’s going on for you?
When you answer those questions for me it’ll help me create more Big Vision Shows that are really fun and perfect for you. It’ll help me figure out what kind of content and what kind of programs to create that will really serve your needs, plus it’ll be good to just reconnect—reconnect with you in this way, in this new energy and this new place.
So, in today’s episode of The Big Vision Show, I would be so very grateful if you could just take 20 seconds of your time and click the little link below and fill out this very short survey, a few questions. It’ll tell me where you’re at, what you need and what you’re looking for so that I can get back into the mode of serving you, supporting you, being your champion, which, of course, will make us both feel really, really good.
Finally, I just want to say thank you. I want to say thank you for being with me through this journey, through sharing your stories and your encouragement. I know it sounds kind of cliché, but I genuinely don’t believe that I could have gotten through this really challenging period without you and without having you on my side and in my corner, in my tribe, in our lives.
So, thank you. Thank you for being part of this. I’m excited. I’m excited to start this next part of the journey with you, so please click the link below, fill out the survey, and onward and forward to making your big vision a living, breathing reality right now.
Max Simon, talking to you soon. Much love.
