The BIG Mistake We Made This Week…

Today is our chance to look back on the week, reflect on what went right… and learn from the things that went wrong.

But as long as we’re moving forward in the right direction, then it’s something we celebrate with you (and maybe even help you learn from our mistakes).

So what did we learn this week?

Technology Happens

This week we had an issue where OLD emails were going out when someone joined our Proven Six Figure Path group on the NEW platform. We even had a few weird, random emails go out to tribe members who cashed-in their bonus ticket for Our Most Important Announcement of the Year.

It was more than a little embarrassing…

And the big issue is that a few of these emails were promising out-dated bonuses and even some offerings that had nothing to do with what they purchased!

So the team jumped into action. No one pointed fingers and no one complained (even though this problem only added more work for everyone).

And instead of denying these offerings or trying to explain “technology failures” to our amazing tribe… we just rolled with it!

We banded together as a team and made it happen!

Then we turned to our tech team and they did a little digging… and found the issue (and fixed the issue).

But other technology problems are going to occur. When you least expect it…

These emails going out was a random, weird problem we had never experienced before. And the timing was terrible because the entire team is super focused on our up-coming What’s Working Now LIVE Event (and we are pushing really hard to make it 10xs better than anything we’ve ever done).

So when it all went down we were ripe for drama, melt-downs and probably even a few tears. But we had none of that.

We got everything resolved and turned around incredibly quickly while still keeping our cool… and most importantly we kept our positive attitudes.

Our big take-away from this week

You can never predict when technology is going to cancel your webinar, or break your links or even randomly send out unrelated offerings to your tribe.

And sometimes you can never really prepare for these kinds of things – no matter how many times you test and re-test.

But you can keep it from throwing you off your game or killing your momentum because that part is all up to you.

You just need to focus on fixing the problem, keep a positive attitude… oh yeah, a little humor goes a long way too.
